Lawry's Garlic salt has been my go to spice for most meats. I just bought a new supply. You changed it. It has much more salt. It ruined a cut of meat I was preparing. Why?

I've been using this garlic salt for years. Just bought a new one and it's not good! Flavor is different and it's too course now. I am so disappointed. Why change something that was perfect?!

You should officially be reported. I'm looking at a newly purchased 6 oz bottle of Garlic Salt with Parsley (2025 expiration) and the ingredients and nutrition facts are NOT what they are on this page. VERY coarse salt. Not even sea salt any longer. Higher sodium content. Garlic oil (REALLY?). Food is better without it.

I have loved the original formula of the garlic salt it was a perfect blend. I just purchased a replacement at Sam's and when comparing to my old batch the ingredients list has changed as well as total servings despite being the same 33 oz container. The sea salt has been removed and salt is not the primary first ingredient. The total sodium content per serving has increased from 270mg to 350mg! The color is much darker compared to the nearly white appearance of the original version. The new version has added garlic oil which was not present in the previous formulation. Why all these changes without calling it out to the consumer?!?! Bring back the old version. So disappointed and will be returning!

In July and August 2022, there was a temporary formula change to ALL Lawry's Garlic Salt with Parsley products due to the shortage of starch.
This change included removing the starch, substituting Coarse Salt for Sea Salt, and increasing the garlic content. While parsley looks more visible, there has been no change to the amount of parsley in this product.
The original formulation has been put back in production for all sizes except the 33oz size (2150022201). We appreciate your feedback and we have shared your comments about offering the original formulation in the 33 oz. container again. ~JM

I've been using this product very happily for 3 decades. About 3-4 years ago, someone at McCormick decided to enlarge the holes in the shaker lid, rendering it useless. It it like not having a lid at all, all in the name of having consumers use more product. After ruining about by 20th dish by applying way to much product, I'm done. Tossed the container and I will move on to another brand. I doubt this will get posted publicly, but maybe someone in Mktg will read this. Good bye.

I've been using Lawry's Garlic Salt for 40 years, it's at the heart of my recipes. I just bought a new one and it says now with 25% less salt and the ingredients have changed. Please tell me that's an option for people who should just use less and you didn't change the original. It's very different and not in the same league as the original; why would anyone mess with perfection..?

I was shocked first of all by the colour of it, now has an orange tinge to it and the flavour was not what I was expecting way too salty will have to look for an alternative.

My family has been using Lawry's Garlic Salt for decades and we're very brand loyal. It's disappointing that the recipe has changed, no one asked for that. Guess it's time to try a different brand.
