Has a very strong, bitter flavor. I bought 2 cans since they were on the smaller side and both sauces taste bad. I do not recommend, spend the extra money for a much better sauce.

Disgusting! I made enchiladas for dinner and took my first bite then came here for reviews. Sounds like a lot of people experienced the same. I would not buy this brand enchilada sauce again.

It tasted so bad. All I did was open the can and taste it and I thought it was expired because it was so gross so I threw it away. Then I opened the second can I bought, and it was the same exact thing it is so bad don’t waste your money on it at all.

Wow, if I could give this zero stars, I would. Tasted awful like everyone else said. Literally like gritty rotten coffee grounds mixed with tomato paste or something. Had to throw the entire tray of enchiladas out. Horrible.

This brand Las Pamas red enchilada sauce is awful ! I had to buy this brand because Target no longer carries Market Pantry brand that was superb. This does not taste like red enchilada sauce. It tastes like a bad red sauce mixed with coffee grounds. Not sure what Las Palmas was thinking. It also has a bad texture as if it has sawdust mixed in with it. Whatever that is may be responsible for its terrible flavor. This not enchilada sauce. I have been eating this type of cuisine and using enchilada sauce for deacdes. I know of whence I speak. I may have to dump the two cans I bought down the sink or in the garden. Not sure if it is salavgle with any tweaking. Wow simply not palatable.
