I really liked everything about these but the size!!! I did all my measuring but in the end you have to sit on it to see if you fit. It’s about 2” too short!!! I am seriously considering buying the bar height and cutting the legs. Btw. Very well made and easy to put together (if the angles don’t align right-it’s bc YOU have it in the wrong place). It took me longer to unpack all the tapes packaging than it did to put it together. About 30 mins. (If you have an Allen bit that fits a cordless Dewalrt ~Less time.) I didn’t mind all the tape either bc that’s why nothing was scratched up.

the craftsmanship is poor . the upholstery around the wood is split , cut and 2 seats were punctured. I've ordered 5 stools and 1 is in good condition. the others are damaged. the stool is light weight.

I like the color, I ordered two of the red ones. They’re very cute for my space. It’s not too dark or bright, it’s a nice shade of red for me. What I didn’t like was the fact that one of the chairs didn’t come with all of the hardware installed (one did, the other didn’t, so I had something to compare it too, thankfully). I had to learn how to install wood threaded inserts to be able to screw the seat on… thank goodness for YouTube and Google. Lots of people said it was a nightmare and impossible for them; and it wasn’t the simplest to do. I was able to do it alone, but I read a bunch of reviewers saying they were not able to do it. It sucked, to be honest… I am open to learning and doing things, but what about the people who aren’t able and can’t physically do it? It just wasn’t cool to have this happen and that it happens so frequently according to plenty of buyers/reviewers. The seats feel okay for me because I weigh 130lbs, and I think they’re rated for 200lbs capacity… but just beware. It’s def for lighter people. Also, they’re not the most comfortable. They’re okay for shorter periods of time.

Do not waste your time if you’re looking for a quality chair. We wasted an hour putting it together, and then it was wobbly. Also, the color is NOT as pictured, it much lighter. Sending this one back!

I looked at several of the Linon counter stool styles and found a lot of mixed reviews, mostly about quality and assembly. That made me nervous, but I ordered anyway, counting on Target's return policy. I'm glad I did. The assembly pictures were fairly easy to follow with ONE EXCEPTION. I suspect that exception might explain why some people had trouble assembling it and eventually returned it. Thankfully, there is a simple explanation and solution for the problem. The side braces have tabs at both ends that fit into slots in the legs. Because the front of the seat is wider than the back, one tab (the back one, I think) is obviously angled rather than straight. The assembly picture doesn't give you any clue which way the brace should go, so you have a 50/50 chance of getting it right. I got the first leg on and everything lined up perfectly. Then I tried to do the second one and had the same problem other people complained about. There was a gap where the angled tab wouldn't fit properly into a straight slot. Fortunately, all I had to do was reverse the leg, and everything fit perfectly. If the company added a note to the directions and/or put a sticker on the brace labeling which end goes toward the back, I think they would get a lot fewer complaints and returned items. I was able to assemble this in less than half an hour. (Small fingers helped.) My husband loves his chair. It appears to be really sturdy and well-built. I also like that they document the 275# weight limit. My hubby is a big guy, so I'm always nervous about buying anything he has to sit or climb on.

Typical Chinese Made garbage. Wobbles. Pieces don't line up. Came damaged and with a big hole in the box. Sick and tired of spending my hard earned money on cheap crap. Cheap quality, scuffs and scratches all over the pieces. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I bought 3 of these for my island kitchen and they seem sturdy so far. I like the way they look and feel when you sit.
The assembly was easy enough. One of the under the chair fabric was a little torn but it didn't bother me as it's not visible. And one of the packages had a small washer missing but it didn't cause any assembly problems as such. If a screw would have been missing then that would have been a problem. Apart from a couple of small issues, overall the product feels good.
Too low for us, had to return.

I ordered these bar stools because I thought they would look great with my kitchen island. Unfortunately, they are really low. The color is more of a burgundy than a true red. They were not as I had hoped so I returned them. BUT they were delivered promptly and the return was easy in the store.

The chairs look nice and sturdy, the picture is an accurate representation of them. The material gets dirty really easy - any oils (finger prints) show. The chairs were not easy to put together. I ordered 4 - one was damaged, so i have to return it. And one is wobbly and i dont really have the energy to return 2/4 i bought.

Really nice chairs. They are expresso in color. The only problem I had with them is that out of the 4 chairs I ordered, 2 of them had a tear in the leather. But Target is very good about working with you with damaged items. They are very comfortable and easy to install. I would recommend these chairs.

The overall look is good and the chairs are pretty sturdy. the screw holes didn't align up on both stools I purchased , so I had to drill the holes bigger. Also the finish on the legs is definitely not espresso!

These chairs are very nice and seem very sturdy. They arrived in perfect condition and were well packaged. The wood color is a dark espresso finish and the chair seats are black. They are smaller in general stature which is what I was looking for to be placed with a small counter height table in the kitchen. The first chair was a bit tricky to put together, but once you figure it out the second one went together in no time. They even have little plastic round tabs on the bottom of the chair legs so they don't mark up the floor. I am very pleased with the purchase and would order again.
