I was irritated to see that canola oil was an ingredient in this product. Don't be fooled by that "USDA organic" label!! This is not healthy if it has canola oil. I promptly returned this product and went to my local market to buy fresh parsley with no canola oil!!

There was no strange smell. The parsley flakes were not as dried out as the ones in the bottles. I would have loved this product if they hadn’t added the sea salt. Each teaspoon has 10 grams sodium. That is a small amount but it really adds up if your recipe calls for multiple tablespoons of minced parsley. I could definitely taste the salt.

while I like this for the convenience that the parsley is cut up and it has slightly more flavor than dried parsley, it's still lacks flavor compared to fresh parsley. I only bought this parsley because I needed parsley for a recipe and Target did not carry fresh parsley. I don't think this is worth the price. I say the same about the cilantro from the same brand Gormet Delight. I would only recommend this item for the sake of convenience and if the store does not carry fresh parsley.

This product along with the cilantro is supposed to weigh .35 oz (without the container of course.) Lately, the contents all weigh either exactly .2 oz or .3 oz. It's a good product but very expensive. I don't appreciate feeling as if Gourmet Garden purposely and routinely filling the container with less than the label indicates.
