This is actually a lot saltier than the broth I normally use, so I probably won’t go out and purchase it for normal use. It would be good to turn into a quick pan gravy as you wouldn’t really need to add any salt to it to make it taste good.

SURPRISE, it did! And it really made my version of my wife's stew taste way better than I thought it would. I also used some the next day to add flavor to rice. Something as little as using vegetable stock instead of water made a huge difference and great flavor. I've picked a container up every trip to the grocery store just so it is always on hand.

Swanson Vegetable Cooking Stock has become one of my favorites. It’s so flavorful already so I use less seasonings making my soups healthier. Iv run into the problem of many stocks being overly salty but Swanson Vegetable Cooking Stock isn’t salty at all. The vegetable flavor really shines through. Iv used it in Vegetable Beef soup, Chicken Veggie soup, I used it as marinade for chicken and my picky eater kids couldn’t get enough they even asked for seconds. This will be my go to stock from now on.

It's definitely a staple in my kitchen and a brand I trust to provide consistency and quality with a delicious taste. I love using this when cooking soups, casseroles, or anything that needs a little juice to it. This is perfect because it's a vegetable stock and can be really versatile with a lot of different meals. I also like the chicken stock but this vegetable stock really goes with everything! It adds a nice mild overall flavor to any meals and helps add something more flavorful than just adding water. I like the actual container, screw top lid means you can use a little then stick it in the fridge and save for later. So many uses!

I usually use chicken stock, but I was out so i figured i would give Swanson Vegetable Cooking Stock a try. Oh man am I glad I did! It brought out the flavor of the chicken in a robust way. I did not use all of the Swanson Vegetable Cooking Stock, 32 oz. Carton so I was able to reseal it and put in the refrigerator for later use. It contains less than 2% salt and is 100% natural vegetable cooking stock.

Plus, the carton is big enough to use it as a base for soup when I make for our entire family. My kids love it and in case I don’t need to use the whole carton, I just screw the cap on and store it in the fridge. So handy to have around.
