We've had 2 of the Boraam swivel bar stools with backs for 2-3 years now and they've performed perfectly and look "like new" even now. The Boraam stools all require assembly but they are so well designed, and created with precision predrilled fittings, that it's a really simple task. All necessary parts are provided and the simple instructions w/ drawings make it easy to ensure that you're doing the assembly correctly. They provide the solid allen wrench that's the only tool you'll need. Once assembled (took me about 15 minutes for the backless stool) the piece looks like it came directly from the shop of a fine craftsmen. They're comfortable, solid, well finished, and the swivel is smooth and silent. The look and utility appears much more expensive than the very reasonable cost Target is charging. If I had more room for them, I'd buy a bunch more.
