Set of 2 Lucious Dining Chair - Christopher Knight Home

I purchased these to go with the Astrid Mid-Century Extension Dining Table, and while they aren't the exact same shades of brown, think they're close enough and that the slight contrast is actually quite nice. The chairs themselves are stylish and comfortable. They sit a little lower than what I'm used to, but that just brings me closer to my food lol. Like other reviewers have said, these chairs are very lightweight. I don't think that's a bad thing, it makes pulling/moving them around easy. I don't feel that they are any lower quality because of their weight. Their sturdiness really depends on how well you assemble these chairs though, and that can be a little tricky. This is one of those flat pack furniture items where you should take your time, read all of the instructions carefully, and understand that you might need to redo some sections during construction. The instructions don't have you check for wobble until almost the very end, which I disagree with. Much easier to check before you screw the seat on. It took me as one person about 30-40 mins to assemble one chair. So if you bought multiple like I did, plan accordingly, this could be your night. But overall, I'm very happy with these chairs, and have received many compliments on them!

Used them for less than 4 months, and the materials started to peel off. Bad quality. don't buy.

The chair back is a different color from the legs. Only the back is the color shown in the picture. The legs are very light. There was a defect in the wood on the chair bacj they attempted to fill with wood putty and it’s very obvious. I do not recommend these chairs.

I bought the previous version of this set of chairs and needed two more so ordered these. This new version is awful compared to Christopher Knight’s previous collection for both construction and design. - Smaller back and less cushion for the buttocks - Some of the nails are too long and break through the other side of the wood - Assembly instructions were incorrect - they switched up E and F - No pre-drilled holes for the cushion so you have to guess where the nails go - Look much cheaper than the previous version but were around the same price

Chairs are very, a little lighter than expected, and very little cushion to the seat. Assembly was a little difficult, not all holes for hardware are pre-drilled but chairs look very nice.

It's too bad these chairs are so poorly designed, because they look fairly nice. Although, it's easily apparent how cheap they are once you begin putting them together. The wood is some sort of fake wood and the "walnut" is just a color. The main issue is that all the fittings are wonky and the last straw is that there are no pre-drilled holes for attaching the seat. This means that a) you are guessing at a leveled and balanced fit and b) you are trying to hold a bracket while press a super short screw into wood with no guidance at an extremely awkward angle. All of this leads to a chair that has no flush angles and will continue to weaken and probably crack over time. Not a good product.

Instructions are not accurate or pieces are labeled wrong. Also, the screws that hold things together are too long and will poke through the face of the wood. Otherwise I like the chairs and their construction.

Good-looking chairs, matched our table, and were fairly comfortable...if leaning back. However, two main drawbacks: First, it was difficult to get the legs even so that they didn't rock; even when following their instructions precisely. I had to adjust each chair several times. Second, the backward slant on the bottom part of the chair (where you sit ) is at such a severe angle, that it pulls your body towards the back part of the chair. This makes it a challenge to sit up straight, and gets uncomfortable when you try. We decided to return.

Some of the holes that you insert the pieces into was not properly aligned. The instruction could have been more clearer.

Loved the overall look and style of these chairs, but the wood on the backs of the chairs looked quite cheap in person (I had the walnut chairs). The wood grain looked very stripe-y and fake.

We’ve only put 1 of our 4 chairs together but are very happy with the color & sturdiness. These were a great value. We’d been looking for dining chairs for months. Very surprised & happy to find them at Target.

Product arrived quicker than predicted, product is higher quality than anticipated, product was easier to assemble than anticipated (with an electric screwdriver, of course), product was more comfortable than anticipated, product was less expensive than comparable competitors, plus free delivery, plus a discount! Win, win, win!!!

I love the look of these chairs.. however, VERY cheaply made! The wood kept breaking when we were screwing it together. Also the backs are much smaller than I thought.. make sure you measure your table and know what you want! Unfortunately they didn't work for us and were returned immediately.

I ordered two sets of the chairs (4 total) and one of the boxes arrived with a broken piece. But, after a quick phone call to the manufacturer, they dropped a replacement piece in the mail right away without any hassle. The chairs are a little shorter than my previous set, but they're comfortable and look very modern. They were easy and quick to assemble, too. The online pictures are a good representation of the actual mint cushion color.

I love these chairs. They are beautiful and comfortable. They fit exactly the space I had, and look very high end. They're solid wood (or at least, they look like they are), and were very easy to assemble. Everyone has complemented them and were surprised when I said they were from Target.

The back was too far back for me. It felt like the seat didn’t go back far enough for where the back of the chair was. Pretty easy to assemble. We returned them because of the seat back issue and one of them arrived broken.
