Laid back elegance. The Alena fabric upholstered daybed is so versatile with it's contemporary look and sophisticated details. The daybed can easily go from urban industrial apartment, to coastal chic beach house. Constructed of solid wood frame and engineered wood, the Alena is foam padded and is upholstered in durable polyester fabric. Featuring scrolled arms with button-tufting design on the side panels and the front panel of the trundle bed, the Alena imbues a luxury high end look while providing you with day to day function as a daybed o extra guest's bed. The trundle bed, with wheels is at your fingertips to pull in and out. Made in Malaysia, the Alena requires assembly.

  • A: Hello JK, This product does not come assembled and is separated by 6 or 7 main pieces. You should be able to fit it through a doorway. Also, It comes in 3 separate boxes. Thank you!

I found this a bit tricky to put together, as the instructions are like, "here's how it's supposed to look and here's some tools — go!" But after I managed to figure it out, I fell in love it with. I got two twin mattresses from Ikea to put on it. It's a nice size - fits in our small guest room, where a foldout sofa would not - and it's quite elegant and study looking. It's really transformed our little room into a hideaway/oasis. The first night we set it up we wanted to sleep on it ourselves! Instead, we had guests over who found it dreamy.

This bed is beautiful! It was so easy to assemble! I put a twin xl mattress for the top (10 inch) which fits perfectly and for the trundle a twin size mattress (8 inch) which fits perfectly as well.
