A: The only frames you should use the mattress alone are ones that have slats a few inches away from each other. For ones like this you should use a foundation (box spring) so the mattress doesn't sag through the gaps.

A: Yes, this bed frame easily assembles and disassembles in 30 minutes! You will need a Philip's head screwdriver, but all other tools are provided. You can easily zip all the disassembled pieces right into the back of the headboard to make your move even easier.

A: This Langley platform bed does not have an adjustable headboard. There is a fixed 15.5 inch gap between the headboard and the top of the slats.

A: The distance between the top of the slats to the bottom of the headboard is 15.5 inches for this Langley Faux Leather Bed Frame. Since this bed requires a box spring, we recommend the total height of your box spring + mattress be at least 15.5 inches if you don't want a gap showing below the headboard.

I love the bed frame itself, however this is definitely false advertising. This is NOT a platform bed. You will need a box spring unless you want a big gap between the mattress and headboard. The whole point of buying this was so I wouldn’t have to use a box spring and ended up having to get one anyways. As far as assembly, piece of cake and very smooth! The bed is sturdy and and has zero blemishes. If I didn’t have to buy a box spring I would have given a 5 star rating.

Although it came on time the quality is not there at all the bolts are rusted and stripped it’s not new at all...highly upset everything was dis colored

These hardware pieces are not rusted; the color is caused by zinc plating, a common metal treatment that prevents corrosion. The color shown is the natural finish for zinc-plated hardware.

I also wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. It is not a "platform" bed. It is not the same bed in the video, the headboard doesn't run top to bottom like the video one, and it doesn't have a roll of slats. It was easy to assemble though, my 13 year old son did so by himself. Bad thing though, is now we need a box spring. So if you want to use a box spring, then this bed is easy to assemble and looks good. If you want to use this as a platform bed, don't buy it. There will be an opening between the bottom of the headboard and the top of the mattress. So stupid.

I slept on this at a friend's house and had to leave a review. I slept great. I couldn't believe that it kept the air pressure that I set it to all through the night. I thought for sure I would have back problems but I didn't for how firm it stayed the whole time.
