Horrible legs!!! One leg broke the 1st night, now 3 legs are broke after moving it to paint. Very cute and the desk has great storage but the legs are terrible!

Arrived with surface damage, pictured. I would have returned but it's a huge hassle and the damage on the desk surface can be covered with a mat. The height of the front of the desk is a little much so that the height of the writing surface is a little uncomfortable. Can't raise my chair as then legs hit the bottom of the desk.

Cheap desk that I can NOT believe increased in priced within the last few months. Customers, please know that I bought this desk for $149.99 only four months ago. So the fact they are trying to say $187 is a sale is a rip off. My 9yr old child was terribly awaken in the middle of the night to the crashing down of her desk onto the hardwood floor. She immediately woke up scared and startled! Moreover, there is now a gash in my hardwood floor! Whose going to get that fixed?? The legs are very weak. My husband put the desk together as he is a carpenter so he obviously knows what he is doing. The problem is the way screws and holes line up doesn't make the construction stable. I should've known when I read other similar issues in reviews but I thought perhaps it was a rare anomaly. if you want to be like me and still buy the desk, I suggest not paying this astronomical price for such a cheaply made (ply board) desk. And FYI, the paint on this desk was also chipped in several places as others have reviewed, but I was willing to look past it.

Lovely desk, but it came damaged. The corners were chipped on several pieces, in prominent areas. I could only opt to ship it back for a refund or replacement as a means of customer resolution, which is almost impossible given the way the package is shipped…. So I guess I’m just assembling it and attempting to paint over the chips. I rarely get upset enough about something to leave a 1 star review on a product, but so guess today is one of those days.

The top part of the desk came with black streaks and one of the cabinets the pieces didn’t match and it won’t open or close. I already contacted the company for replacement of these pieces. Overall a simple desk. The divisions take a lot of space on the top of the desk.

So great with all my space

I've had this desk for over a month now and while I loved how it looked initially, it scuffs and scratches way too easily. I am not rough on the desk. The only thing I put on it is my laptop and school papers. Yet, there are so many scratches and scuffs that won't come out.

I was able go assemble it myself. Some parts of the desk has scratches.

I have had this desk for about a year and I have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS!! It’s amazing, a little time worthy to put together but for how cute it looks and how well it functions for everything, it’s worth it!!

Cute desk, cute little storage compartments. Had a terrible smell that lingered for at least a month. Even put it in the garage for a couple of nights and that didn’t help much.

Lovely design and size for my 8yr. Drawers were manufactured wrong and the desk came with some dents and chips.

This desk came with several parts with the paint chipped off. In additional, when building the desk, one of the wooden pegs came entirely through the particleboard and through the top of the desk. We’re hoping we can get a new piece 1 to replace this, or can get a full refund for the faulty desk! Didn’t even last 1 hr before breaking.

My daughter loves this desk. Solid and stylish it was easy to put together with one person.

Ordered this for my 12 year old son. It was more than I wanted to spend on a desk that he will likely destroy, but I was honestly very surprised by the quality of it! It’s not made of particle board as I expected, it’s much sturdier. Color (grey) is as pictured. My son put it together himself (as I read the directions & guided) in about an hour or so? If you’ve ever put together IKEA furniture, this was pretty similar. None of the pieces were damaged as others have mentioned. Overall, I’m really happy with the purchase & would recommend to other parents of tweens in a heartbeat!

Super Easy to assemble. It’s really sturdy for such a small desk i love it. Perfect for small spaces. The only thing is that the top shelf part is only attached in the back so when you assemble it you have to be careful flipping it over.

Received this desk today. Took me a little less than an hour to put together by myself, instructions were easy to follow and it was easy to put together! It looks very nice and I am excited to add some fun decor touches to it. I was a little hesitant due to some of the poor reviews, but so happy I went ahead and purchased anyway! I did not experience the “smell” or issues with assembly as stated by others. For the price this desk is just right, I would recommend it!

It’s a cute desk, I just didn’t realize how short it would feel! And it’s not wide enough for a full computer set up comfortably.

DO NOT order this desk from Target. Find it somewhere else online. I’ve been waiting a month now since I order this desk and NOTHING. On top of that, every time I track the shipment it’s a different delivery date. I called a week ago and they said it was lost and sent a new one and didn’t even bother to give me a discount or a speedier delivery time. If I pay $180 for a service or product, then I expect you to execute on your end. I will never order anything from target EVER AGAIN... save yourself a headache and order somewhere else.

Put together it a little difficult. My daughter loves this desk, loved its cubby holes and the price is right!
