Q: Does this weather well? Is it a red or more of a merlot or wine color. Thanks. Is it already have a protective finish on it? I live in MN. . . so weather can be harsh.
submitted by JV - 3 years ago
A: JV, Thank you for your interest in the Adirondack Chair in red. The finish is a darker red. There is a UV protectant in the finish so that it is able to be outside in the weather.

These broke after a month, and are not weather proof. They broke in all the places they could break. The arm came off, the seats cracked. Garbage material, do yourself a favor and get the real deal chairs, not these cheap ones.

Laura, We are sorry to hear the Adirondack Chair broke within a month. They are made from acacia wood and are weather resistant but not weather proof. They have a UV Resistant finish also. Please contact us at 800-262-1852 or consumersupport@linon.com so we can assist you. They will require photos due to the items warranty.

Not a happy customer - 4 years ago
Chairs look nice and were affordable but did not hold up well. After only one summer of very light use and storing indoors for the winter one of the seats cracked. The other chairs have developed small cracks already too and they hardly ever get used. My cheap plastic chairs have held up better than these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The chair was easy to assemble. Took about 15 minutes to put together. Tip, when assembling put everything together finger tight and all the holes will line up nicely. Then as a final step, go through and tighten all of the screws. Once assembled, the chair is very sturdy and does not wobble. The chair is very comfortable and looks very nice, except I wish it had one more coat of paint. This chair looks very nice on my patio. I would recommend this chair.
I love it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Blue Adirondack Chair is super simple to put together. It even comes with the Allen wrench needed for the screws so nothing extra is needed. I was able to put this together by myself in no time. It looks great on my front porch with the pretty blue color. The armrests are flat so I can sit a drink or my phone on them. The angle is comfortable for sitting and the chair supports up to 275 lbs. I am 5'4 and find that a support pillow helps me and having a foot rest is extra nice when sitting for more than a few minutes. My dad is 6'2 and he fits the chair well. He said he didn't need a pillow. My mom has mobility problems so I didn't think she would be able to use the chair but she was still able to get up and down. She is 5'2 and also agrees about preferring a pillow and foot rest for added support. Overall, this chair is crafted well and looks great.
