Q: Can the cord be replaced with a longer cord? Where the cord connects to the top of the lamp is it welded on or can it be unscrewed?

Q: How can I clean without ruining the finish? I hung this shade in my open kithen/dining area and the dust is stuck to the top of it. I love it and don't want to ruin it. Thanks!

A: Hi- You should be able to use a damp cloth with water to clean, and after cleaning I would use a dry cloth to take of any moisture from the lamp to prevent any tarnish or rust since this is a metal product. If you do want to use anything beyond water I would suggest doing a small test of the lamp before using. Thanks!

These pendants look beautiful for the price. Giving 4 stars because the first one we received was dented, and deformed. It was returned and we got another one that was in better shape. The material is rather light and slightly flimsy, but they work well for our use and look very pretty.

I was looking for something that was beautiful and interesting but not too showy, and this has been perfect! It hangs over the middle of my living room and I didn't want anyone hitting their head so I kept the length relatively short. We used a 65W bulb, because anything higher was wayyyy too bright. Words of installation advice: try threading as much of the extra cord length as you can into the ceiling before securing the mounting bracket. It was really hard trying to hold the remaining pieces of the lamp while threading the wire through. Also, there's a VERY small plastic screw that is used to tighten the ceiling plate and the cord together. DO NOT LOSE IT, or else you will not be able to securely fasten the length of your ceiling light.

So thrilled with this light fixture, looks high end. Color is a warm brass and matches the hammered brass side table perfectly. With the cord was covered instead of clear, but it still looks great.
