I am rarely this excited about something new I’ve tried but this thing works miracles! I have used it on everything from wool boots to wool socks to fleece and it makes everything look new again. I included a picture of my before-boot and my after-using-this-boot and you can see the difference. I was going to get rid of these favorite boots because they looked so bad but this shaver made them new again! What a money saver! Literally saving me hundreds of dollars in replacement items for such a small cost of the shaver. I also use rechargeable batteries in it to save money and be less wasteful. Get it, you won’t regret it!

This saved my kiddo’s soccer socks! I washed them with towels (clearly not thinking) and the black socks came out with tons of white pilling from our towels. I tried tape to no avail, so I ordered this and went to town. In about ten minutes they were looking nearly as good as new. The lint trap part was a bit annoying to clean out so they should consider adding a tool to clean it out, but otherwise, this was a score!

I used this sweater shaver on some of my hand knit socks and it cut them. I am extremely displeased and now I have to attempt to fix socks again. These are hand knit they take a long time to make.

Fresh out of box, tried two sets of new, AA batteries, and unit wouldn't even turn on. Frustrated to have wasted my time going to store and purchasing in person. Also, it costs less than $10 to order online, but $16+ to buy in store! What's up with that? Not even worth $10. Returning!

I bought this for a rug that was looking a little disheveled. Maybe it’s a user error, but I felt like this thing wasn’t the best. I had to apply a lot of pressure for it to shave the fabric.

Broke after two months

I was really excited to get this after an old one died. The shaving function works quite well, and I like the ability to adjust how close the blades get to the fabric. The weight and size are comfortable to hold. Why two stars then? First, the lint catching compartment is too small. Lint routinely gets trapped in it and I have to dig it out to empty it. More disappointing is the fact that the panel holding the batteries in is poorly designed. The batteries put too much pressure on the panel, which is located on the end of the unit, and it broke after just two months. I’ve tried duct taping it on, but the batteries continue to push it off.
