Frida Mom Upside Down Peri Bottle

I am 49, have had 2 vaginal deliveries (17 & 14 years ago) a hysterectomy, am in menopause and have just discovered a pelvic organ prolapse. My family doctor, pelvic floor physiotherapist and surgeon have all recommended we invest in a bidet. Before investing in a bidet I decided to try a Peri bottle first as I remember it being very useful post delivery. In my search for a better version than the one the hospital offers I came across the Upside Down Peri Bottle so I purchased one. I loved it sooooooo much that I purchased a second to keep in two different bathrooms. This bottle is invaluable and has remedied a lot of menopausal intimate skin dryness and pain. We will not be be installing a bidet, if anything I will be getting one more of these bottles for our third bathroom! Thank you for producing such an amazing product.

So I actually purchased this product not due to being postpartum, but simply because I was having some sensitivity downstairs due to a health issue. And let me tell you, this thing is AMAZINGLY helpful. The friction from TP was only causing further problems, and wet wipes stung like heck. But this? Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Glad I watch enough OBGYN content to know that these exist! I'll definitely be recommending it to all of my friends, even the ones who aren't pregnant!

I’ve had mine since my last baby was born in 2020- it was so helpful during postpartum, that I realized it would be helpful forever. I use it during that time of the month or for a quick refresher- always adding some witch hazel to the water. It’s like an inexpensive manual bidet. I do plan to get a replacement- even though it’s still in good condition, for the simple fact that I’ve had this one forever.

This is not a usable product if you have trouble accessing your private areas. If you have to push the spray head against your body to get inside tight spaces, or between areas, the entire neck retracts back into the bottle, which then OPENS THE CAP and dumps (bloody) water all over your hand, your legs, and the floor. What a poorly thought-out design.

Works great, so much better than any they give you in hospitals. Very worth it to take your own. A must buy for baby showers!

This was an absolute necessity after my baby was born. So much better than what the hospital gave me to use. It felt amazing after what my body went through!

Unfortunately, the Frida Upside Down Peri Bottle was a huge disappointment. After just one use in a steam sterilizer, the bottle melted and became completely unusable. The plastic is clearly cheaply made and cannot withstand basic sterilization, which is essential for postpartum care products. I expected better durability from a brand like Frida, but this bottle didn't hold up at all.

I got this after having a labiaplasty since I can't wipe for a while. I LOVE this thing and it has made the whole experience more comfortable. I think I'll just continue to use it once I'm fully recovered because it's such a refreshing alternative.

This style just makes sense! The ones in the hospital are fine and this isn't a NEED but it's really helpful to have. Brought it to the hospital with us and it was very helpful after delivery. The design just makes sense!! Also a fun bath toy for after it's intended use lol

The design is odd and because the nozzle has to be snapped into place, it’s not very secure. First time using it water went everywhere but where I needed it. Won’t buy again

Buy now! As a first time mom-to-be there were so, so many newborn and postpartum items to purchase. It was hard to know what I actually needed. I am so glad I had this! 100% recommend! I took one star off "easy to clean" because I put it in the sanitizer and it melted. Still, I'll be buying again for baby #2!

Great bottle that has a good squeeze and you can put warm water in it so it doesn't sting as much.

After having 3 kids and due with my 4th one, I was gathering a list of items that are must have as a mom and this was on top of my list. After having my 3rd 4 years ago, I knew I needed this. I absolutely couldn't stand some of the products I used at the hospital that make it inconvenient after delivery. Since discovering this Frida Mom upside down peri bottle, it made my postpartum recovery so much easier and quick without any worries. Last time, I actually brought this bottle with me for post delivery and used it. Great for warm water and helping me properly clean without having to reach far after a delivery. Easy to clean, soft bottle and the nozzle collapse for storage or in my case when I am ready to go home. This is just one of the first steps in my recovery bags, Frida Mom always makes the most incredible products with mom in mind. I couldn't be happier and the best investment ever! I can't wait to use this again! The long neck of this peri bottle is so helpful and much needed for any postpartum recovery without having to strengthen any muscles that are not necessary. I recommend this to every pregnant woman I know. It's a simple must have on my list! If you haven't given this a chance, try it for yourself. I know I am amazed!

The angle this has makes a huge difference. This is worth the hype! From a hygiene perspective, I couldn’t live without this.

I’m glad I received this second hand. I’d buy 3 more to have in every situation. Every woman should have this, pregnant, recovering or otherwise. The comfort is unmatched.
