Q: I know it says Patio rug, but how will this do exposed to elements 24/7? My outdoor rugs never seem to dry. Looking for something that drains/dries nicely.

A: Thank you for your interest in the Keaton Basket Weave Patio Rug. While this rug is made to be used outside in all climates we do recommend the use of a rug made made specifically for outdoors. These type of rug pad elevate the rug and have a open weave that will allow air flow under the rug to hasten drying time. We also recommend that this rug be cleaned periodically with a mild soap and water solution. Thank you again for your interest.

Q: How do you clean this rug?

A: This rug can be swept or vacuumed off. To deep clean the rug it can simply be rinsed with a water hose and left to dry. A mild soap and water mixture can be used to clean the fibers if heavily soiled as well. Thank you for your inquiry.

Although the rug is pretty it is darker than I expected. The color said “sand” but it’s more brown. The biggest complaint I have is it’s not even and when it is on the ground the long side showing is not straight. The corners do not line up on the deck. We tried stretching it several times to no avail. This was not an inexpensive rug so I expected a better quality product. It’s my first time purchasing an outside rug so I am a little disappointed.
