A: Hello, there is not a ridge that will keep the mattress in place, we do recommend a mattress non slip pad for over the slats to keep it in place.

The middle legs are not strong enough to hold the two brackets together. They don't stay square to the bed or floor. As you can see, they kick out and rub against the floor in the night. Ruined my floor. A competitor's queen size platform frame never did this. I'm so bummed because now I have a scratched to heck floor and a crappy frame.

I purchased this bed for my son. One of the brackets snapped off after 5 months. I’ve submitted a warranty claim and I’m getting the run around from the manufacturer. BUYER BEWARE!

Nice height but bare bolts on the sides have ripped up my legs, gouged my knee... It was decently easy to put together but the instructions really aren't much help. It did take 2 people to put it together. The bare bolts are the only issue I see. You could store a ton of stuff under it. It's sturdy and solid otherwise.

I’ve had this frame for 3 years now. We ordered a queen size to use with our hybrid mattress with no foundation and it’s perfect. No bent metals or caving in. Hubby & I together weigh about 350 and both sleep fine. Easy assembly and easily attaches to a headboard. I love the space underneath for storage or makes cleaning much easier. The corners are also round so you don’t bump into them or stub your toes. I definitely recommend. I’m actually here to purchase two twin sized bed frames for my nieces. Definitely give it a try.
