While looking online for an entertainment center, this one caught my eye. Not too large and several compartments. However while inspecting pieces as I was putting it together, there were splits in wood behind where manufacturers had put the track on for the drawer. I continued to put other parts on hoping that may be all I encountered, since I was excited and anxious to get my living room back in order. Sadly not the case. Only half way through the assembly steps and as I was putting the bottom shelf on , I continued to get splits on middle dividers (H AND G) where the Allen screws were going in. I do not think this is worth $700 and now I have to deal with returning a partially put together unit along with an enormous size box with rest of parts not attached yet. If I had encountered 1-2 splits I would have called manufacturer for replacement parts, but I counted 10 total! Be prepared to have people available to carry the 100 lb box into your home, and plan several hours for assembly. Lots of parts.
