[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I try hard to keep my decor very minimal but meaningful, so I'm always excited when something pretty has practical uses as well! It feels heavy and good quality, and I especially love the rich wood lid. I keep running my hands over it. I put the storage drum in my sun room where I like to escape from my family and read with my plants, and it's been perfect for storing the assorted plant accessories that aren't so pretty. Watering cans, hanging hooks, extra hangers, etc, all go into the drum, where they're out of sight but within reach! It's a perfect little table to put my coffee cup or laptop on, and it's the right height to prop up my feet from my comfy chair too. I love it!

It such a nice piece, very durable and trendy. I love how it can be used as storage and as a functional side table or even seat. The wooden top is surprisingly quite heavy , and the Gold color is more of a dull gold which is lovely!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Beaton drum is fantastic. I am currently using it as an end table with hidden storage and my guests at my home compliment it all the time! It's got plenty of space inside to stash away things like blankets and pillows, and is sturdy enough to hold a lamp and some other decorative items. The base is strong and the wooden lid that I use as a tabletop is surprisingly much thicker than I would have expected-- I think that if someone wanted to use this as a close-to-floor seating option, it would also serve that purpose. I was amazed to notice that this product was handcrafted in India, with design and sustainability in mind. Overall, I am very impressed with this product and would happily recommend it to anyone. It's a beautiful piece of decor that is well-built and fits seamlessly into so many different decor styles!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently sent this accent table to review and let me tell you, it could not have come at a better time. I was looking for a cute side table for this studio and this looks great in the space! This is the Powell Company Beaton Drum with Storage in Gold. It's about 21" in overall diameter which is good size for small coffee table or end table. The storage option is great because who doesn't need more storage?! I like the hammered finish of the metal, too. The wood top is made out of solid mango wood and it's quite substantial. I love the finish color as well; not too orange-y or red as some wood stains tend to be. There are pads on the underside so the wood doesn't have direct contact with the metal drum. I only have two minor cons/concerns. The wood top, while beautiful, is not completely flat. It's fine for what I plan to use it for, but I would need to be mindful of where I can safely set down a drink. The drum does not have any feet or protection. If you have hardwood (or in our case, cement) floors, it will need to be carried rather than pushed/slid into place. Just something to note should you have something heavy inside. Overall, I'm very pleased with this table! I think it works well with the set up we have going in the studio.

I looooove it! I ordered a smaller, gold drum from another website and this same item was approximately $75 more. I did a google search and found this on Target!

Super disappointed, was expecting much better quality. It looks like a totally different item from the pictures. Not silver, more of a pewter- not shiny at all and more tapered shape over all, with very faint indentations marks. Poor quality for sure. I gave it one star for the lid, which is nice wood and flat.

Does not look anything like the photos. Arrived scratched. Cheap looking with an expensive price tag.
