Q: Do you need a box spring with the mattress? How many inches thick is the Casper Original Mattress?

A: Our Original Mattress is 11". We do not recommend using a traditional box spring as this does not provide the necessary support for your Casper mattress. If you have a platform bed frame with, no foundation is required. If you do not have a platform bed, we suggest using our foundation or one like it that provides slats no more than 4" apart.

Q: Is the King size mattress somewhat foldable? Where I would be able to unpackage it in our downstairs family room and then be able to get it up the stairway into my bedroom after it has had time to air out?

A: While we do not suggest folding your Casper for any extended period of time, you should be able to maneuver your mattress after unboxing to transfer it into a new room of the house.

A: The closest bed frame we have available via Casper.com is called the Upholstered Bed Frame! Our bed frames are sold separate from the mattress and not as a set. Dimensions of the Upholstered Bed Frame will be dependent on the size you are looking for, we have them available in Full, Queen and King sizes.

We reviewed several mattresses from multiple review sites. We finally subscribed to Consumer Reports and their evaluation confirmed everything we had thought. The One is the best memory foam mattress for the money. Its edges have decent support. The motion transfer is minimal. We’re both side sleepers and we love it. The sides have enough support to not roll when you near the edge

I really like The Original Casper matress, I am a light weight side sleeper. It seems to have the right amount of firmness for me. I am amazed that I have no back pain with since I started sleeping on it, My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the lack of edge support and bounce back when turning from side to side.

Unboxing was easy and simple, mattress expanded quickly, let it sit for 24 hours on the bed to air out, the next day we slept on it, and it was very comfortable I would highly recommend this mattress.
