To operate simply press the button located on the bottom rail and gently pull down or push up to desired length. If resizing is needed, simply cut down the shade (equally from both sides) to fit any required window width using a heavy duty utility knife (not included) while using the resizing cutting guide tool included. The room darkening/light blocking aspect of these works so well. But from the beginning the (5 total) blinds have not lifted all of the way. And one completely broke and no longer lifts at all.

My friend ordered and they were thermal lined and truly blackout which is what I wanted. What I received were not lined and light filtering. I returned them.

It has already broken. It was brilliant at first in how easy it was to set up etc, but now it has broken and the shade does not lift.

The shade isn't white, not even close. I expected the fabric shade part not to be a bright white since it is room darkening and most room darkening shades have a lining to them which would effect the whiteness some. What I didn't expect is that the top and bottom plastic pieces would be a greyish beige, not white at all. On top of that, the item arrived damaged. See my picture below. The shade on the right is white, the shade on the left is the Cordless Cellular Honeycomb Room Darkening Sun Shade - Lumi.

Absolutely loved my new curtains. I watched the video on another listing of the same brand on target and it was exactly as described. Everything we needed was provided including a knife to cut the ends off which my husband did because it was slightly longer. The result is a beautiful curtain with a modern look that looks just as advertised. Took minutes to install I ordered two more!
