Q: Can you make this a touch lamp to go on and off?

A: Hi - there might be some third-party kits that will make a lamp a touch lamp, but we are not aware of any at the moment. If you are looking for added functionality you might want to consider adding a line cord dimmer switch. This give you easy access to the on-off control, plus allows you to use the dimmer to set the light level to a wide range of levels. Thank you for the question.

A: Hi - the lamps can use up to a 150 watt bulb and have an on-off socket switch, not a 3-way switch. If you'd like the 3-way functionality we'd suggest using a line cord dimmer. This will give you many morre lighting options than a 3-way bulb. Thank you for the question.

Q: Is the color of the shade beige or more of an off white? Are there any beige tones in the lamp. I have a grey couch but looking for something with some beige in it. Does the resin material feel cheap?

Q: What is the texture of the lamp drums? And does the color have a slight orange/rust tint to it? The description says "Light terra cotta finish" which usually means an orange tint, but the picture looks gray.

The description says the base is made from resin to look like ceramic. However, it does not. It looks like a big piece of plastic with ridges. The color variations are also very different. Photos appear varying shades of taupe, ivory, etc. but it just looks beige. And cheap.

It's beautiful, but unfortunately, I didn't holdup. I contacted Target, but my only option was to send them back, which seemed like a hassle. I tried contacting the family but there was no response.

I don’t know how this has so many great reviews. The color is completely different than the pictures. It’s a very dark ….idk. Clay color? And the shade is a beige color that isn’t the same tone as the lamp. This is the second time I’ve ordered a lamps plus product where the finish is completely different than the website. I’ll be mindful to not order anything from Lamps plus again. Maybe it’s just a bad batch…twice but if you want the color in the picture don’t get your hopes up.

I’ve spent 3 months looking for lamps and found the perfect one online at Target.com Although these are not made/distributed by Target, the lamps are surprisingly well made and arrived just as expected! The lamps are easy to assemble, and made of light (even though they look ceramic) plastic. We used the hue light bulbs and they function perfectly. The instructions included also note alternate shade specifications should you decide to replace the shade it comes with!

These will give you the expensive look for less! They are tall and fill the space well in a Master bedroom, with a beautiful finish. Remind me of Pottery Barn. These are sturdy and I have no worries about them breaking.
