Assembly took awhile but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Our dresser actually looked like a dresser after it was all put together for the price we paid we thought it was good quality one slight problem is it smells like wood but we’ve put it outside in the sun for a while, and no that it will improve overtime.

I wanted real wood and found Walker Edison had this dresser for less than other merchants. I love that it’s real wood and the prefect color. I will say the delivery was a headache. The packaging needs attention at best. Both dressers were delivered in torn boxes and broken drawers. I sent pictures to Walker Edison in hopes they will have this addressed for future orders. I was able to wood glue the broken pieces. I also received 6 wrong sides of the drawers on my second dresser but was resent the correct ones. I will say customer service responds right away and does everything to make it right. I’m very pleased.

I spent months looking for the perfect dresser for our baby boys nursery and finally found this! I love that it’s solid wood with recessed brass handles and the price couldn’t be beat. It came quickly and was easy to assemble!

Nightstands look nice but are not functional. Some pieces came without the necessary holes, which caused a drawer to be extremely hard to open and close. Overall, rather disappointing.

Item arrived with some scratches that didn't seem to be noticable but were upon assembly. Was offered to have them replaced but during assembly it was obvious if the poor construction. Pilot holes weren't well drilled or didn't exist, locking cams were poorly designed that led to stripping, and the shelves have no safety design to prevent from being pulled out on a small child. And pay attention to the drawer dimensions - they are but very deep. I was refunded as promised but the item itself is poorly constructed. Better off to go to you know where.

Love the Lydia collection in black. Our bedroom is now complete. Easy to assemble also.

Took 6 weeks to arrive. When it did the assembly process was poorly designed and furniture is not held together well.

I put two nightstands together in about 2.5-3 hours! The directions were clear and easy to understand (I’m not the most savvy with these things so if I can do it anyone can!). My only complaint was the drawer is a bit tough to open and close properly, but it’s not the biggest deal to me or my boyfriend. Overall, they look beautiful and I’m so happy with the quality and ease of assembly!

It is made from quality material, my only complaints are the drawers and construction time. This dresser took me around 5 hours to put together which is more than any other piece of furniture i’ve constructed. Additionally, the drawers are not as smooth as you would expect with furniture this price. They are consistently getting stuck /jammed when i try to pull out a drawer. There are only two drawers that are smooth and you don’t have to mess around with. With that being said, I still like this piece of furniture and am content with my purchase.

I wanted to love this dresser because it looks beautiful online but 1) pieces came damaged and the black color did not get painted on the entire thing so there were patches of light wood and 2) it was such an ordeal to put together (3+ hours) and we ended up breaking pieces and splitting wood because there weren’t pilot holes to guide us. The drawers also do not have any rail mechanism to guide them in and out. I definitely would not purchase this piece again. Way too much money for the amount of work and the quality.

Do you like a challenge? Do you want to test your relationships? Then this is the dresser for you! The overall quality is low in every aspect. It claims to be real wood and that’s seems to be the case but there is a “wood grain” sticker over the actual wood which defeats the purpose of it being real wood. It also makes it way to easy to scratch. I have the walnut and was expecting it to be stained but that cleared isn’t the case. Assembly is an absolute nightmare. The holes don’t line up properly and some pieces are sized wrong. Many of the screws go directly into the wood with no predrilled holes. This causes the wood to crack. This is especially true when assembling the drawers. On top of all of this, the instructions are only pictures adding to the challenging assembly. Once assembled, the color is a bit off. It is a very dark walnut and doesn’t match the other walnut pieces we have in the room. It’s a shame because I like the look, but at the end of the day there are better quality pieces for the price.

Assembly is an absolute nightmare. Following the instructions to the letter and being very gently with the pieces but the sides of the shelves keep cracking while assembling the drawers. The bottom trim piece is too long so I’ll have to find a jig saw to actually put the frame together. And one of the dowel receiving holes on that part is not in the right place to I either need to omit a dowel or figure out how to make a new hole. Overall very dissatisfied and disappointed in this product.

I bought this dresser and when I opened the box I noticed damage. I thought it was inconspicuous in the place it was at. Once I got the drawers assembled they did not slide in properly or got stuck halfway. I contacted customer service they offered me 10% of my money back or I could return the fully assembled dresser to the store. Since I am not a delivery service they offered to arrange for it to be picked up. I am still very angry and disappointed that I had to speak with three people just to arrange to pick it up. After 4 hours of assembly and frustration I will not be ordering furniture from target ever again.
