I was leery of spending this much on claw clippers, but I'm glad I did. They are so sharp my cat hardly notices when she's having her claws trimmed. And this cat hates having her claws trimmed. She's older, so she doesn't scratch anymore and her nails get thick. This slices right through them. And you can see what you're doing, so there is less chance of hitting the quick.

First time user. It works great. Scissors are sharp, so it cuts clean and quick. Blades are thin, so there is good visibility to confirm only the tiny tip of nail is being trimmed and blade is not near the quick. It works as described and as the earlier reviewers stated.
