A: The top of this unit can withstand up to 60 lbs. Unfortunately, this product has not been tested to use for seating, so we cannot recommend it.

Q: What is the weight limit on the inside of the locker? I'm wanting to store vinyl records

A: The upper shelf can support 20 pounds and the lower shelf can support 30, but the total interior height is just 16.3 inches, split between these two levels. Thank you for your question and enjoy your day!

put the whole cabinet together just for the doors to not even align. i took it apart and tried again, so it seems like a defect. i don't want to return it because i spent so much time putting it together but i'm so disappointed that i even paid money for this.

Purchased this for our home gym / workout area. Appreciate the quick shipping, easy assembly, and that it looks as great as we had hoped. I started furnishing a tin and old plank siding basement apartment with the Shadwick tall metal locker and liked it so much I ordered the tall Shadwick cabinet with the mesh front, and then this third Shadwick piece. They really are easy to assemble, and they look great. I only wish matching cabinet top protectors were offered.

This cabinet is so cute but my main issues were the fact that the doors on it never like to shut properly and take a couple tries messing with it to properly shut them. Also I personally don’t feel that it’s secure because after putting it together I went to move it to my bedroom and the doors ended up falling off and the legs were about to come out. Personally the instructions were also kinda confusing only being pictures. Overall I like this piece of furniture but I feel there could be easy improvements to it.

Thank you for your feedback and we sincerely apologize that this was your experience with the Shadwick Metal Locker Storage Cabinet. The doors should shut without much fanfare, and it sounds as though there may be an issue if yours are not. There are a couple of small holes along to top portion of the legs, and these are used to attach the doors in steps 6 and 7. Please make sure that these holes are closer to the front of the unit, as this can impact the ability of the door to open. This is a beautiful and functional cabinet. The terracotta color stands out but has a softness to it. I was able to put this together on my own (though it might be easier if you do have a helper). I've been using it for a month and have had zero issues with the doors -- just be sure to carefully follow the assembly instructions and you should be fine. Highly recommend this cabinet!
