I really love the 2 lamps I bought. Yes, I agree that up close looking at them you can see they are painted to look like wood but what do you expect for only 56.00 !!! People don’t inspect your lamps and from the room entrance they look great. Simple and clean design.

I was surprised that this is painted to look like wood. I just would have preferred it to be stained wood. It feels very cheap when you take it out of the box and assemble it. Some of the metal parts were wonky and I had to straighten it out when I put it together. My room is very small and because of how it’s painted with streaks to look like wood it looks fake up close. Ironically it’s made of wood and would’ve looked better without the faux wood painting treatment, just a simple stain or plain color paint job would’ve done the trick. I will be returning this.
