my complaint is not about Target. the first set I received was damaged. Target contact Powell in an attempt to get replacement parts and that never happened. Again, not Target's fault. They ended up sending another entire set. The table top was damaged again. Again, not Target's fault. I ended up having to take the best from both sets to create one good set. I ask Target to ask them for the dark hazelnut color so I could touch up the remaining damages. Powell said "No". I will not purchase another Powell product but will continue to deal with Target and I will not recommend the Powell brand to anyone. Again, Target was great.

We are sorry you had so many issues with the Landon Dining Table. On the assembly instructions, there was a phone number, email and website to contact us directly, to avoid you having to go through Target to get assistance. We do this to simplify any issues and assist the consumer faster. Should we have been given the option, we would have explained everything to you, so you would know exactly what to expect without a possibility of some information getting lost with a middle contact. Unfortunately, touch up on the finish is not available for any of our products, which is why we were unable to send it to you. Also, the top is packaged with other parts of the table and cannot be sent out as a part alone. The weight of the table means it must ship what is called LTL. This means it is too large to be shipped by FedEx and must ship common carrier. Again, we are very sorry any of inconvenience that has occurred and would hope you consider our products in the future.

This dining group is so gorgeous! The gray color has a whitewash effect and the tan color isn't too dark or too light. It gives my dining room a farmhouse chic look which goes well with my kitchen style. Very happy with my purchase :)
