We bought two “number ones” for my son’s 11th birthday. One didn’t light at all, the other took 20 seconds to light. Not worth it.

Purchased for my son’s 10th birthday. The #1 lit fine (takes a few seconds to get going) but the #0 absolutely would not light! With limited time, as the candles burn quickly and go out automatically it was a big bummer and huge waste. We ended up having to remove those candles, replace with different candles, and start the birthday song all over. I wouldn’t recommend as these are not reliable.
Not food safe, likely has lead.

Item is not safe for cake based on instructions on packaging yet it is marketed as cake candle. Description says not to be used inside and to be held away from you outside. Sparklers typically have lead them. Does this one? Is this food safe?? I will be writing the company and Target to find out. Will update review if I hear back.

These candles added a great touch to my daughter's birthday cake. I'm not a fan of actually blowing out candles on a birthday cake so we decided to go with the sparklers. They lit fairly easy and went out by themselves.

I wouldn’t buy this or put it on a cake. It doesn’t burn in a safe manner. Sparkler sparked and started fire in our home burned our floor, not safe for use

These are horrible. I don’t understand all the good reviews. I bought two, for sons 11th birthday part. We lit one and then tried to light the other. The second one would NOT light. But the first one burned super super fast and we didn’t even get a chance to start to sing to him before it was done. Fastest sparkler candle I’ve ever seen. Don’t waste your money and disappoint your kids who specifically asked for sparklers.

They left a layer of soot all over the top of the cake. Had to remove top layer to eat. Set off our smoke detector and smelled awful. They didn't light easy. Wouldn't buy again.

My sister-in-law purchased these for my niece's birthday that was being held at my house. I didn't get to see the wrapping, so had no idea about the warning for outside use only. After taking 10 minutes to light we only got 1 minute of "sparkle", and my dining room table cloth was burnt all over. Thankfully the table didn't get burnt too. Fun for an OUTSIDE event, but it still seems really dangerous for kids to be using.
