Q: Can this hold books? Like it's a bookshelf? How much weight can each shelf hold?

A: The total weight capacity is 22 lbs., or about 4.4 lbs. per shelf. The individual shelf dimensions are about 4.25'' H X 6'' W X 4.75'' D, so we recommend measuring the books you’d like to display to ensure they are suitable for these dimensions. This shelf is perfect for displaying small objects such as sculptures.

Q: Will each shelf be able to hold a 11 inch shoe without it hanging off the edge?

A: The shelves are 4.6" deep x 6" wide, so a shoe of this size would not fit unfortunately. We do have several shoe storage bench options available, including TCIN 77644071 and 88332729.

Q: can I store shoe boxes and will the wal shelf hold its weight?

A: The shelves’ dimensions are about 6” long by 5.5” deep, so this may not be big enough to hold most shoeboxes. The total weight capacity is 22 lbs., or about 4.4 lbs. per shelf. We do offer several larger shelves under the Danya B. brand, as well as some shoe storage benches.

Q: Can it hold pictures frames up to 8x12??

A: No it can not. Each shelf only measures 6 inches wide and 5.5 inches deep. The height in between shelves is also only 4.75 inches

A: The overall weight capacity is of 11 lbs. about 2 lbs each shelf. As far as the dimensions it is 5 7/8" deep and the space between the shelves is 8 3/4".

Q: can you use command strips for this and can you drill this through a plaster wall?

A: Command strips will not hold the weight capacity of this wall shelf so we do not recommend it. You can drill the holes required to install if you use the necessary screws and anchors (which are included in the box).

A: No need to mount on studs. Hardware provided includes anchors and screws needed to install. As long as it is installed using the correct anchors and screws there should be no need mount on studs.

If I could give negative stars I would. I waited 2 weeks for this item just for it to come missing all of the wooden shelves. They have me the screws and the back piece but NO SHELVES!!! What am I going to do with wood and no shelving??? Pathetic. I'm returning and I want my money back. Scammers

Don't waste your money. It's super cheap looking and mine arrived with two gouges in the finish. The attachment mechanism is also terrible bc it is only at the top and leave the whole rest of the unit to swing freely from the wall.

Took me 3 orders to finally get just one working shelf. First one came completely broken in half. Second one came with no screws to attach the shelves. The 3rd one came and was finally fine. The shelf is decent for the price and great for a small space but a big hassle to just get one right!

I bought the white shelf, but the picture showing on my review is wood. I am pleased with the size, bought for little things in daughters room (small toys, lego sets, etc). it was fairly easy to assemble, it would be helpful to have a third hand, but with patience one person can do it. There is 4 1/2 inches between each shelf and It holds a max of 22lbs (per the instructions). My complaint is that the instructions are mostly pictures and does NOT tell you what size drill bit to use for the anchors. I think all items that need assembly should have the Instructions listed online.
