Washed Cotton Sateen Duvet Cover and Sham Set - Threshold™

I like the color but don’t love that everything shows up on the comforter; lint, animal Hair, anything shows so much. And it’s very blah looking. It just looks like a sheet lol

It picks up every single piece of lint from anything

You get what you pay for. The material is cheap and the construction is cheaper. The zippers on the duvet cover and shams broke the first time I put them on.

I loved this color, the material is decent but on the thin side. The zipper to close it is awful. I bought two of these, different sizes, and both the zippers broke and tore the material around it. For the price, I would expect a higher quality zipper.

Poor quality. Material is not soft and everything (hair, pet fur, lint, etc…) sticks to it. Huge waste of money.

Do NOT buy. It collects lint no matter what. It has been washed multiple times and dryed yet it continues to collect lint. I’ve used a lint brush on it. Done everything to try to prevent it from collecting items. It was a complete waste of money. Extremely disappointed.

Super cheap material! Came damaged

The duvet cover started to fall apart after just one wash. Feels very cheap.

CHEAP cheap cheap!!! I paid $71 dollars for this item!! I’d return it but I stupidly washed it already. One of the pillow cases is already coming apart and I haven’t even used it yet. The material attracts SO MUCH LINT. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS ITEM. You will be disappointed.

Soft durable fabric. Rich deep color

Very poor quality. Not soft. And the zippers are very weak. Not to mention I think it would not be advisable to sleep on a zipper with very pointy zipper ends that are not hidden on the pillowcase. The zippers will eventually fail, invest in a duvet with buttons. Returned the next day, after realizing the poor quality. Wanted to love it because I love the blue color.

Doesn’t look terrible however, lots of loose threads and missed stitches leaving holes around the seams. Will be returning this.

Color was great. Fabric was fine; not great but okay for the price. Zipper didn’t move more than two inches in either directions. Always check the zippers before bothering to launder. Luckily was able to return.

I have been using this duvet cover and the matching pillow covers for at least a month now. Overall, I am pleased with them (though I did purchase them on sale online). They are definitely cotton. As other reviews mention, the zippers are indeed flimsy/delicate, but I just make sure to be careful with them - so far, no problems. The pillow covers are also a little sloppy in shape, but I don’t mind - bigger/fluffier pillows would mitigate this problem. I don’t think the material attracts hair any more or less than other cotton bedding, and a regular lint roller easily collects hair off the material. (For context, I have very long hair and a cat who sheds a lot.) I was really glad to find these, as 100% cotton duvet covers in nice colors and at reasonable prices are SO hard to find. I got the Dark Navy color, and it is indeed very dark - nearly black. It looks beautiful and slightly nautical with a “regular” (lighter) navy set of sheets, white accent pillows, and a white throw. It is a versatile shade of blue that looks good paired with either purple-blues or green-blues. It looks nice alongside multiple shades of grey, light blue, or turquoise. The duvet cover and pillow covers have washed up perfectly in warm or hot water with a small amount of regular detergent (don’t use fabric softener), dried on low or medium heat in the dryer. I think they would fade significantly if regularly washed on hot, so I’ll stick to warm water. They won’t wrinkle if you remove them promptly from the dryer. The cotton is soft and keeps me cool when it’s hot & warm when it’s cold - infinitely better than anything polyester! Make sure you wash them after unpacking them!

Seams are undone and pillow case is defective

Terrible quality multiple open seems that were completely missed when sewing. The pillow cases are misshaped. Awful

This is horrible! Ours arrived without any packaging. One sham missing and the seams were ripped. Very unhappy.

Last year for college I purchased the Easy-Care Duvet Cover & Sham Set - Room Essentials. It was not available this year, so I purchased this set instead. Very disappointed. I only read reviews once I got home and opened it up. Like others said, it attracks dust, hair, etc. We do not have a pet and the amount of lint just out of the dryer was gross. Zipper is difficult and flimsy. Also, after washing twice with fabric softener the material is very hard and rough. I will be returning.

Do not buy this. The zipper is so cheap - owned it a a couple weeks (cleaned twice because the pet hair sticks terribly) and now I can’t zip it back up fully due to junk zipper. Mad at myself for spending $70 on this.

Queen size in Indigo blue- color is nice, as advertised. I washed before use- slight wrinkles but not bad. The fabric has a slight bit of sheen, not too much- looks nice. Zippered closure better than buttons. Size seems a tad bit large for my light down comforter - quite satisfed so far and a good price.
