This product is not as advertised. The product is flimsy. The bolt heads round out very easily. The one cross support split 2 turns into tightening it to the legs. The floor to seat hieght displayed says 20 inches in the description as you can see in the picture it's only 17.5 inches from floor to seat top. The product is wobbly. Don't recommend buying these. Will be returning.

They look really nice but the spindles came defected so they didn’t attach correctly therefore I wasn’t able to assemble.

The rungs that connects the two legs together are impossible to assemble. Also, cant attacked the bolt covers.

Solid finish, comfortable

I have had these chairs for MAYBE a year and most of them are already scratched and nicked. The finish comes off so easily you can hardly sit on them in jeans with rivets! One tipped over and scuffed up the back so badly. The little wooden dowels you stick in to cover up the screws have all fallen out and I’m continually having to tighten the screws to keep the chairs from wobbling. Horrible waste of money and will need new chairs within a few years.

After seeing the instructions on how the chairs are supposed to be assembled, I can see why other reviewers complain that they are wobbly. Beneath the seat, two cross pieces extend from left to right. The rear one is held in place by screws, but the front one (which I expect to experience a higher load) is not held in place. Bad engineering. To compensate, I used a liberal amount of carpenters glue to firmly hold it in place on each end. (I also put some glue on the one that has screws.) The chairs are firm/sturdy so far, after 2 weeks of duty in our kitchen. BTW, the reviewer who complained that some chairs pitched forward almost certainly mounted the leg units backwards: the front legs are slightly longer than the back ones. Overall, they are solid and comfortable chairs. Time will tell if they hold up, but if assembled as I suggest, at the very least they certainly are not as bad as other reviews suggest. Right now I am very happy with them: a classic proven design, and a very nice finish. (Just be sure to use some carpenters glue when assembling!)

Liked the look but the quality is horrible. It’s not even been a year yet and I want to get rid of them. They’ve become so wobble and loose. Even after tightening it again still comes loose. Chips easily too.

Ordered 4 sets of these chairs, each chair has a different seat pitch making some comfortable to sit in while others feel like you’re leaning forward while sitting back. Planning to get some chair cushions to offset that problem.

Use everyday in kitchen.

Easy to assemble and look very nice.
