Frozen Organic Spinach - 10oz - Good & Gather™

I use this to add to small batches of veggie soups, 2 to 4 cubes at a time, approx 1 cube per serving. Nice that it comes in cubes instead of a solid chunk, makes it easier to portion out and put back in the freezer. It's chopped way too fine to use in recipes calling for "chopped" spinach, but works just fine for soups.

Puree not chopped spinach. So disappointing! I hope your bring back the former product. I will have to shop elsewhere now

It’s mush. Not chopped. Ruined my spinach dip. Only bought bc they were out of Birds Eye. Never again!

This frozen spinach is perfect for my morning protein shake! It comes in “cubes” which makes it super easy to portion out the exact amount I like.

Awful. Strong smelling. When sautéed with onions and garlic it overpowered everything. Super weird. Too many ribs too...so odd.

They changed the product. It’s now frozen spinach balls that once cooked turn into slop. It’s not chopped spinach it’s more like blended spinach.

I was purchasing 4-6 of these per month and then about 3 months ago the product TOTALLY CHANGED! It used to be 'chopped' spinach and NOW it's 'ground' spinach and when cooked it's a literal 'puree' that looks like bright green dia-rr-hea and feels like it in your mouth. The flavor is totally different as well. The flavor is ok but I CANNOT get over the liquidy texture, 1/4 cup of water, sloppy wet mess that's literally like baby food. If you don't have any teeth and you enjoy eating your food in baby food form, you'll love this! If you loved the fresh flavor/chopped/perfect organic spinach that this used to be, you will hate this now! WHY WHY WHY does every product I love always end up changing and getting destroyed? Why? WHY did Target do this to this once delightful/perfect spinach. IT'S A BAG OF SPINACH!!! WHY MESS WITH IT?? I will not buy it again until I see reviews stating it went back to it's original 'form.'

This used to be chopped leaf spinach. Now it is the pureed spinach blobs (just like the "regular" frozen spinach) that have to be thawed and smashed up to be added to other foods. I've stopped buying it. Change it back!

This used to be good and looked like fresh spinach. Now it is watery and there is less. It’s terrible.

I love this frozen spinach. It works well in recipes and I love how long it lasts since it’s in the freezer. I love this Target brand.

Perfect size to add to soups and casseroles!

Too many thick fibrous stems. Wanted dark green leaves not stems.

Yuck. Ruined my spinach artichoke dip. I’ve never had a problem with frozen spinach before. This smelled bad and unfortunately I still used it and it tasted bad as well. Will not purchase in the future.

Sadly, there are too many off-color and poor texture pieces (brown pieces and mushy beige bits) in the bags. Difficult to pick them all out. Will return to store.

I’m not sure what happened with this. I used to buy the non organic and all of the sudden I’m finding stems and stems only with the worst taste ever. So I switch. I started getting the organic and out if 10 bags, 2 were ok, the rest were stems, few leaves and a disgusting taste. I thought maybe a bad batch, it happens but when you buy them sporadically and they keep getting worst, must be a production issue. I was super happy when good and gather brought back frozen spinach but I’m not buying these again if this is the quality.

The taste is strange, like a chemical cleaner, and the texture after cooked is tough. Never knew spinach could be so bad.

great veggies in easy steam bag!!

Had a piece of plastic in it… Making lasagna…. Every other component was white mozzarella, ricotta And then mixed this in, with gloves hand and felt the sharp something… Scooped out the clump where I felt it and flattened on the counter and there it was…. Will be calling corporate and reporting immediately … so just be aware. Never had any issue before but obviously a huge quality control or plant issue… just glad I felt it and did not bake and have someone chew or swallow this.
