A: Hi Bal, thank you for reaching out. In order to prolong the service life of this silk pillowcase, we highly recommend you to hand wash it in cold water. Do not bleach, do not iron. My curly hair looks better with this silk pillow cover compared to normal ones. Also, it looks durable and can be used for a long time. The package is actually pretty good, it is packed in a thick plastic bag.

Bought this pillow case in queen size in May of 2023. A few weeks ago it just ripped along the zipper. Very disappointed. Also, interestingly the price is now (October 2024) almost double what I paid, $57.99 vs. $29.99

I have curly hair, so frizzies are a given- but not nearly as much with this pillowcase! I also like that it zips closed, as opposed to being open - as pillowcases tend to slide off even when they are not slippery

I loved these pillow cases, but once they reached one year of use they completely fell apart. The seams were not built to last even when you follow all of the special care requirements. For the price I would expect them to last MUCH longer than just a year. Would not recommend for that reason.

These are the best silk pillowcases I've tried, of about a half-dozen brands. The silk is thicker than others, and the zipper closure keeps the pillow from sliding out overnight - the envelope closures are the worst for that. The zipper works very smoothly, without snags, and is small enough that I can punch my down pillow around easily (other brands use bigger zippers that you feel all night long). I wash mine with my delicates using silk wash on the delicates cycle. They've been tossed into the dryer a few times (on low), with no ill effects - usually silk will shrink! I've had my original (ivory) set of two for over a year, and the only change is that they took on a little color from something when I accidentally washed them with black things. But they're otherwise still perfect. I've bought four of these pillowcases, and will buy more in other colors. Highly recommended.

She absolutely loves it. It's just as soft and comfortable as a the expensive bamboo pillow cases that we use. The material used appears to be just as well made and she thinks it last a long time. She even brought on our trip out of town! The only real problem she has is the recommendation to be hand washed. However, other than that she said it's a keeper.

This pillowcase is made well, it’s easy to use, and it works great! This pillowcase came packaged so cute! It even comes with its own little cinch bag to store it in. This pillowcase is 100% mulberry silk and it’s absolutely gorgeous. The fabric is extremely silky and soft. The pillow case is true to size and it has an invisible zipper on one end. This pillowcase is hand wash in cold water and air dry in the shade. It did have a bit of a dye odor when it arrived, so I decided to hand wash it. Washing it was pretty straightforward, the dye didn’t leak at all and the one wash took care of the dye smell. I gently hung it on a hanger and dried relatively quickly. It had slight wrinkles that pretty much went away once the pillow is inside of it. I really love how nice this silk feels on my face and I love how gentle it is on my skin and hair. Plus, it looks really nice! All in all, this is a really nice silk pillowcase! It’s made well, it’s easy to place a pillow inside, it’s soft and silky, and looks nice! I would absolutely recommend it!

It wrinkles easy (see below) and I guess that might be an issue if you tend to have problems with imprints of fabric wrinkles on your skin when you wake up. Anyway. It has a zipper which is great because the pillow won’t fall out and the cats won’t be tempted by the interior threads.
