I would give this 4.5 stars. The color is as pictured, and the quality is good. My only complaint is that it isn't quite as crisp and cool as the previous matelasse blanket I had. That one was perfect for summer nights, but this will still be a nice year round bedspread.

Nice deep color; that was a critical factor for me. These are not the soft fluffy open weaves that we were expecting to get with USA made cotton throws. This blanket is made in India and seems very well made. Washed when received. The amount of drier lint seemed perfectly normal for a large cotton blanket, so nothing wrong there.

I love LOVE this coverlet. It's more than a blanket but not bulky like a comforter. It's lightweight while still being soft and giving a higher end look. It washes well and I loved it so much I bought another one for a different bed.

My dogs are on my bed sometimes, so I want something I can throw in the washer. The size of this cover was huge, but after a few washes it seems more reasonable. I recommend this for beds that have height, but not for low platform profiles. Works for me.
