We wash according to instructions and last night the dog wet the bed. It went through to our brand new Avocado mattress. I am not at all happy with this and I can’t get through to customer service!

We have a primary residence, a winter home, a a ski condo. We have these mattress protectors on all the beds in each home. They are great; wouldn't use anything else... just definitely be sure to dry them with sheets or towels- they do NOT like to be alone in the dryer- it kills them!!!

Bought this mattress protector ten months ago with a new mattress set. Store said we had to use this protector to maintain the warranty on our new mattress. This morning my three year daughter was in the bed and had an accident. Lo and behold, our $110, fancy dancy, impervious to all liquid spillage mattress liner leaked. Then when we called to file a claim, we're told that Protect-A-Bed will send you a new mattress protector and examine your old one to determine if it is a manufacturer's defect. Then and only then will they reimburse you for cleaning your mattress. I would also like to point out that we have always followed the care instructions to the letter because we wanted to protect our investment. We wash our protector regularly and never use bleach on it (the mattress store was very explicit about this). I suppose that the adage fool me once applies here, but I wish to warn everyone that may be considering this product that the product and warranty do not live up to their promise. We splurged to get a good mattress and the appropriate protection to make it last. I just thought that our "investment" would last longer than 10 months.
