Each shelf is held together by a side srew. This is a bad design as any amount of weight on a particle board plank held that way will split it. The shelves should always be supported from under to hold any pressure with this material. To make matter worst, the side screw goes into a piece of plastic that splits the corner as you hand tighten it. Will not hold more that 5 - 10 lbs. I have assembled dozen of pieces of furniture over the years. I am a handy man with an engineering degree and fix homes for profit. I am not a beginner. This is the worst design I have seen. Do not buy.

boyfriend just built it this morning, the back board came cracked, and immediately after putting together one of the doors broke off

It was the perfect size and I liked the look. Unfortunately it was cheaply constructed. The holes didn’t align and the particle board split when putting in the screws. We only put half of it together and decided to return it. This is the second piece of this brand we have ordered with the same result. Done.

Not structurally sound. When I went to put the pieces together, none of the screw holes were properly sized. Had to really force the screws in and enlarge the holes. Not sure how long this will hold up. I would have returned after realizing it was shotty quality, but I had waited to put this together for too long and missed the return window. Won’t buy from this brand again.

This didn’t take very long to build, and will hold most of my bathroom items. The provided pieces didn’t all line up though, and some of the metal pieces that requested a screw to be fastened weren’t punched all of the way through (rendering them useless).
