This piano bench arrived perfectly with no defects (manufacturer packs the bench well). It has solid construction. My 10 yr son assembled it in less than 20 minutes (counts for homework). I really LOVE that it holds two rows of piano books. It looks like the more pricey benches with 100 plus dollar pricetags.

i wanted to give this 1& 1/2 stars. and that's generous. I've had it 5 weeks and already I have had to tighter the legs and today a button popped off. Too late, I checked to find it's made in China. American quality can't be beat. Buy some other piano bench.

I was very reluctant to buy a piano bench in this price range, but the quality is surprisingly good for what you get. It matches our piano well enough to blend in, and it feels both sturdy and comfortable when used. It seems to have a bit more mahogany to it than I anticipated, but our piano is a dark cherry finish, so this blends in fine.
