Merrick Lane 10 Inch Hybrid Mattress CertiPUR-US Certified Foam & Pocket Spring Mattress in a Box

Based on the high marks given in the majority of the reviews, we thought we were making a good purchase. This mattress looks nice but is incredibly uncomfortable. The springs inside jab your back because there's not really much cushion between the springs and the exterior fabric. It's very soft, bouncy, and like I state above, the springs are just too hard. This mattress might work for a small child under 100lbs but its just not appropriate for adults. We're looking to return this but need to figure out how to do that now that's it out of the box. I suppose that's what we get for trying to go cheap on a mattress and purchase blindly over the internet.

This bed is so soft that you can’t sit on the edge without it sort of collapsing. My 9 year old wanted a very soft mattress, not like a normal plush memory foam deal, but a really really soft squishy mattress. That is what this is, basically feels somewhere between a water bed, a bean bag chair, and an air mattress. I hate it, but she absolutely loves it which is what ultimately matters. I would not recommend this for anyone over 100 lbs for any extended amount of time as there is very little support. You can also feel the springs. I got a 6inch twin $80 memory foam mattress for the trundle part of her bed and it is way more comfortable (to me) than this.

Extremely supportive and comfortable

I got this for my 2-year-old son, who is now 3. Because it’s not at all stiff, putting the sheet on it can be a challenge as the rest of the bed sags when you raise a corner. It’s quite heavy as well. It’s flexible material and weight make it difficult to move in general. Since it’s not my bed, I’ve never slept a night in it, so I can’t say how comfortable it is after significant use. But in the brief moments I’ve laid on it, I found it VERY comfortable. We have a more traditional queen mattress in our master bedroom. If they make a queen mattress like this, I would take a strong look at it for my next one.

I really did like the mattress for my sons bed because he can jump on it but as for my room I would not get it. It’s a great child’s mattress but it is too soft and sinks in too much for an adult especially if you have any back problems. Recommend for kids not for adults.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Capri Comfortable Sleep 10in Hybrid mattress definitely lives up to its name. The mattress came is a big box and once you get it where you’re going to place it you can open it up. It takes a little bit to rise to its size, but not too long. The mattress is so comfortable though! I love a hybrid mattress when sleeping because of my back. This one isn’t too hard or too soft. It’s just right for me.

Been sleeping on it for a month now and I’ve never slept better in my life. Granted my queen bed was a little older but this thing is SOFT and COMFY. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfect mattress for my guest room.the box was ridiculously heavy so you will need help. You must follow the directions!!! I took it out and made the cuts where directed. Lay flat for 24 hours is what was recommended but I did 48 hours. Do not leave it up against a wall or leave it on bed frame. It needs a flat even surface or it wont inflate properly. You want it to inflate evenly. I laid mine on my wood floor. It inflated to just under 10 inches which works perfectly for my bed frame. It is very comfortable and is a “medium feel”. I slept on it and while it is comfortable I prefer firm. My daughter LOVES IT. So far no complaints or issues. Not sure how it will hold up with everyday use but for a guest room it’s perfect.

The stress is pretty comfortable. I would say it's firmness is medium.I think that this is a great mattress for someone on a budget.

Our new queen size mattress arrived in a smaller box than the box that holds our artificial Christmas tree. But once unwrapped and laid out on the floor, the compressed mattress began slowly expanding to its full size and shape. It's turned out to be perfect for our guest room, and required very little time or effort on our part, since we didn't have to spend any time shopping at mattress stores. We're very happy with it.

I was first skeptical that the mattress would not be good since it is rolled into a box. However, I gave it the 24-48 hours needed to inflate, and I was immediately surprised at the regular full-sized bed that was comfortable to lay on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was surprised how tightly this mattress was literally rolled up in a box! I also thought for sure it was going to be very thin and flattened. We opened it, it was not hard to open, it did open quickly, so make sure you open it where you are going to be using it. It is not a deep pocket mattress, it is 10 inches thick, but it was very soft and comfortable. I’ve used it for about a month I really do not have any complaints, I think it would be great for a spare room or for college apartments it for just a few years.

It was thicker than I expected, which is great. I can tell that it reduces movement when another person moves around on the bed, which is something that my old mattress lacked. Overall, I am enjoying this mattress.
