Q: Does this require a 3-way light bulb?

A: No, a standard light bulb will work with this light and still function as a 3 way light.
submitted bySam - 4 years agoA: All Touch-On Lamps can only use an Incandescent Bulb, CFL or LED Bulb are not allowed. You do not need to get a 3-way light bulb, because the Touch-On Sensor located inside the Bottom of the lamp does the function of a 3 Way Function.

Q: Where am I supposed to touch it? I put in a standard bulb and plugged it in but nothing is happening when I touch the base in different places.

A: You can only touch the lamp in any metal material. Please make sure to use Incandescent Bulb. CFL or LED Bulb are not allowed for Touch-On Lamps. If Lamp still does not turn on, We will have to send a new Table Base to replace. The Touch-On Sensor is located inside the bottom of the Table Lamp.

Q: Anyone else have problems with this lamp turning on all by itself?! Love the style and color, got it for my kids room. However, it repeatedly turns on by itself. Nothing is touching it in any way.

A: It shouldn't happen like this. You might have to change a new Touch-On Sensor, which is located inside the bottom of the Table Lamp, Once this is done, your lamp will come out new again. You will have to forward us your Target Online Receipt to verify purchase and confirm your shipping address and e-mail to us: sales@oreintl.com. Then we will send you a new Touch-On Sensor.

A: The Green is a soft pastel teal green. Whatever the image green shows on the image is the Green you will get.

A: This Lamp takes an Incandescent Bulb Only. CFL or LED Bulb are not allowed on Touch-On Lamps. The lamp takes a Standard Size Type A ( E26 ) Incandescent Bulb.

A: No, It does not require a Harp. The Shade is an Uno-Fitter type of shade wherein you let the shade sit on the Bulb Socket.

A: On Touch On Lamps, You are unable to use CFL or LED Bulbs. This will automatically burn and make the lamp stop working. Incandescent Bulb is the only option to use on Touch-On Lamps.

Thought a touch lamp would be nice and easy for the bedside. The light has three brightness settings which must be cycled through before the light turns off. So if you have been reading by low light and want turn the light off to sleep, you have to blind yourself with the high light setting before the light goes off… which honestly wouldn’t be so bad. The WORSE thing is that the lamp turns on by itself in the middle of the night! It has done this a dozen times since we’ve had it and we now have to unplug the lamp entirely before bed. I didn’t think a lamp could actually be annoying until I owned this lamp.

Do not purchase. Cute but after 2 yrs randomly dims and/or shuts on and off. This is unusable and I now need to purchase a new lamp for my little girl as there is only a 90 day manufacturer warranty. For my other daughter we purchased a pillow fort touch lamp at the same time and it is still operating like day 1. For the price of this lamp we should get more than 2 yrs out of it.

Well you can not use anything but an incandescent bulb in this lamp or it flickers and buzzes. The shade is also very satiny. It also has something inside clanking around when moved.

I'll start by saying, this lamp is so nice looking! I bought the green and it's actually a very nice turquoise color. It's also a nice size. BUT this lamp has way too many flaws. It took me forever to find the correct lightbulb for it and they were expensive. I was so excited when I found I could finally use the lamp and when I turned it on there was an awful buzzing sound!! It's also SO sensitive! I bought it for my son's nursery and put it on his dresser. I can't open and close the drawers without it turning on and off. Additionally, I thought the lowest setting could function as a nightlight (it even says so on the tag), but even the lowest setting is much too bright to function as a nightlight. Please save yourself the time and hassle and find something else. I did give the 2 stars for how it looks.

I absolutely loved this lamp. We bought it when my daughter was born and it has lasted 2 years without fail. Now, any little movement like walking by it or setting a book down next to it sets it off. It turned on in the middle of the night, which prompted this review. Baby #2 is due and I planned to get another one, but now I probably won’t. :(

This lamp was so darling in my daughters room that I bought it twice because the first one stopped working. Well now the second one stopped working after about 6 months. Although the touch to turn on is awfully convenient something about it just isn’t working anymore. I would not recommend this lamp to anyone looking for a long lasting lamp

Love this little lamp!! I’ve had this in my daughter’s room for 2 years now. Only changed the bulb once. So easy to tap on! No ivory tones, it’s pure white like in the listing.

This little lamp packs a big punch! It’s the perfect size for a kids room or a small space. The base is very touchy which is nice on a touch lamp. The flat black looks nice in my son’s room. The shade surprised me. I was expecting a linen material but this shade is shiny and silky. Not a huge deal but feel it’s slightly misleading based on the description. I love the different settings ranging from night light to bright. Overall- this lamp comes at a great price and is near perfect.
