A: Hey Lyla, BYOMA was formulated to be gentle yet effective for all skin types and ages – free from fragrance, harsh alcohols & infused with our Tri-Ceramide Complex which calms skin, while helping strengthen the skin barrier. We recommend our younger community stick with a cleanser and moisturizer and add a hydrating serum if needed. We also recommend SPF during the summer months as children’s skin is more sensitive than adults’ skin.

I’ve been having terrible acne flare ups for the past few months and nothing seemed to help. I even tried the “fancy” brands with no luck. Truly I felt as if I was going to be stuck with the stubborn pimples and scarring. Im so happy I gave this company a try! within four days my acne had calmed down by a lot!! I even got compliments on my skin at work and no one knew I had changed my routine, so that made me feel much more confident. The other plus is I had flaky dry skin patches that wouldn’t go away, within two days it was corrected. Sure I still have acne marks but I feel that the more I keep using the product they’ll diminish completely. (My skin type is oily/combo and helped reduce it, not sure how it will do on normal to dry skin)

I love the cleanser and the moisturizer but the serum messed my skin barrier up big time. I know part of this is just my skin, so I didn’t dock it too many points but I do think it’s interesting that a company claiming “boosted barrier, better skin” has a serum that disrupts the barrier that badly. I would recommend for the cleanser and moisturizer though.

This is the perfect size and compactness for travel. I liked the serum much more than I was expecting, so I bought a full size bottle. The cleanser is okay, it does a good job taking off sunblock and oil but I think it’s a bit drying for my skin. A little goes a long way, it lathers a lot. The moisturizer is nice and rich without being hard to spread.

I wish I could say I liked it but I didn’t, it doesn’t smell pleasant, doesn’t moisturize your skin that well, and it started to give me pimples and acne. Don’t recommend purchasing this item. At the start it seems fine until you use it multiple times.

Great products. Used them for the first time when I packed this in my hospital bag prepping for labor, so I wouldn’t have to bring multiple big bottle items. Let me tell you! My skin looked and felt amazing. I have deep skin, dry, with oily t-zone that is reactive to a lot of skincare. After using this, my skin looked plumped, glowy, and healthy. Plus the feel of my skin was great, this really feels like it repairs/maintains the skin barrier. Just look at my skin!

I bought this starter kit after hearing a lot of good things about this brand. I didn’t really have a lot of break outs or issues with acne before but heard it was good for brightening and cleansing so I thought I would try it out. I used it for about a week when all of a sudden I was constantly breaking out, getting blackheads and on top of that it left my skin feeling oily. Do not recommend at all.
