Q: Would this get too hot/stuffy for Texas Springs/Summers?

My experience with fabric has been that in the late spring, summer, and early fall, I have to have at least 50% cotton in order to have the fabric breathe at all‼️ if you have central air, this would not be any problem, but we don’t.

I had been looking for a velvet quilt for awhile in this color to go woth a duvet from Anthropology. Bought a king size for my queen bed in case i want to use it as a blanket some night. I gave it a high rating for the style and quality for the price. I saw many velvet quilts for 3x the price (but not quite this color). A bargain.

This is a gorgeous golden quilt. The velvet side is extra soft and pillowy. The full/queen leans more queen which helps it drape nicely (full size bed). The hue “changes” depending how light hits it, which makes it even more pretty. It’s lightweight enough for late Summer and Fall but you need to layer with heavier bedding for Winter. I was able to snag the matching shams!

It’s soft and warm, but not too warm to use year round. I like that one side is velvet and the other is linen. It hangs over the edge of my queen mattress longer than most queen-size comforters. The color is a true emerald. No complaints
