I wanted something to separate my kitchen so you don't see pots and pans as you step into the apartment. Those blinds are very light (they're threaded) and super easy to install on one of those cheap tension rods sold by target. I love the shimmery touch. As shown on the photo, I used one of the strings to tie a portion of it to create an opening.
