It's a nice pattern, you can tell the rug is quality. It's just SO slippery. It slides all over the place. We now have some furniture on it so it's not as slippery anymore but you should get a rug pad if you are going to buy this rug for sure. It is machine washable so that is nice but I think they could've made it a little more sturdy.
