A: Jack, The roping is attached to the Ashburn Campaign Accent Stool. If the rope is removed it will void the warranty.

It doesn’t take up much space however mine is a bit lop-sided but nothing that irritates me too much. I use it in my bedroom and it’s a perfect blend. It seems to be multi use so I think it’d be a great addition to any home.

This accent stool is beautiful! I was anxious to see the quality; I’ve seen a higher end version in a furniture store that cost double the price of this one. They are identical other that the more expensive version’s base is constructed of black iron vs this model being just black metal. However, you cannot tell just by looking at the stool and this one is just as sturdy given it’s ample 300lb weight limit. I absolutely love it. Purchased two to place side by side in front of my fireplace.

The fabric looks nothing like the photo, I bought two of them a year ago and the material was a lighter color and the fabric was beautiful, great quality, now the fabric is a yellow color and feels very still and looks cheap. Sadly I will be returning.

I bought this stool a year ago and the fabric was very light (ivory) just as pictured. If I recall, it was offered in two colors then. Now only one is offered. I just purchased a second one. It is a light tan, beige linen, not the same as pictured. The company changed the fabric but the old color is still on the website. For my purposes, I much preferred the lighter color. Another reviewer mentioned the same problem. It’s a great stool but the picture needs to be updated. Just know that the color of the one you’ll receive is different now.

The Item doesn't match the photos on the target site. The fabric is shiny but the one we received is so dull, it doesn't even match the previous same stool (same sku) that we ordered with same company. In the photo, the right one is actual quality pic and the left one is what we receive. Target shows right photo and deliver the left item.

These arrived packaged beautifully and early. They look as pictured. I expected these to be made of a heavy metal and they are not. They look expensive but the materials are pretty cheap for the cost. It was the height that surprised me the most-these are only 14" tall. I really wanted these to work but back to the store they go.

Jeepkitty, We are sorry you did not receive what you expected. The Ashburn Campaign Stool is a quality piece that will hold up to heavy use. The height is supposed to be 18" from floor to top of the seat. We will investigate the height issue.
