Saw this one advertised and it is 16 inches, so I ordered it-PERFECT! It slips on and zips up, it doesn’t wad up under the sheets, it is exactly what I wanted, and it’s waterproof but doesn’t sound or feel like plastic.

It seems to do the job but you can definitely hear/feel it when you move. It also sleeps a bit hot. Not like the old school plastics sheets but it definitely did raise the temp a little. Overall, it’s ok.

These sheets are beautiful but shed so much lint and fuzz that I am finally getting rid of them because I developed an allergic reaction to them, finding gobs of fuzz in my nose after sleeping. Besides completely blocking the dryer vent.

At first they just shed a lot but were soft. But, after just a few weeks, they are rough and pilled. I also find them to be too warm in the middle of the night. They also are too thick to really fold up well for storage. I will be exiling them to the upstairs linen closet and ordering more cotton sheets for the regular rotation.

We're very sorry to hear about this disappointment! We do offer washing instructions on the tags of our products to help prevent pilling, and protect the integrity and softness of the fabric. Just so you know, flannel is a traditionally thicker material, and is intended to be used during fall and winter in colder climates. We're sure if you contact Target directly, they'll be happy to assist you with a refund.
