Awful taste, It has a minty plastic aftertaste. What is causing that nasty taste? Go buy think protein, zone perfect, or even pure protein bars- way better than this. I’m scared to open the other box which is the peanut flavor.

Most protein bars have a bit of an unpleasant aftertaste that you put up with for the benefit of high protein, but these taste like that aftertaste from the start and it's a much worse/stronger taste. I managed to get one down for breakfast one day. Went to eat one the next day and could not even stomach more than one bite. Waste of money.

I have been eating one of these every day for breakfast ever since they reformulated & ruined the taste of the peanut butter bar a couple of years ago and it is excellent (the peanut butter bar now has a chemical taste to it, ironically caused by the recipe change to "no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives"). Based on some other reviewers comments, maybe this bar was better before they reformulated it as well, but I find it the best amongst the other alternatives out there.

Doing a low carb diet, I think I have tried every bar and cookie in the isle that is low carb. This is the only bar I have loved. I eat at least one bar a day sometimes two. Only downfall for me is they are a bit pricey and they rarely go on sale.

The bars I just received indicate a change but claim "same great taste" News Flash they don't taste the same, they taste worse. I've been eating these for a couple years daily, they're over priced and now don't taste nearly as good.
