Better in person. This is a petite size storage bench. I have it in the kids’ room in front of a book shelf. It fits large puzzles easily. For placement, you will need four inches from wall to allow for the bench top to open.

I needed an entryway bench with shoe storage. This arrived in great condition and it was easy to attach the legs. The seat cushion color is exactly as depicted. However, the bench is not that comfortable to sit on, and it's not deep or spacious enough for ladies' boots and shoes. To give you an idea, it can hold one queen size blanket in my bedroom which is where I had to put the bench.
