The colors are vibrant, but not overpowering. The only downfall is one corner is fraying just a little bit, but I am not sure if it is because of family members or a defect. It's comfortable to walk on, but it's not on the main walking area. I probably would prefer it in the kitchen on a bare floor except there isn't room in my small kitchen.
