The color and especially texture meant all my expectations. No smell and rolled out nicely. A few lumps one end didn’t lay flat at first. A couple of days of books placed on the edge and it’s fine. Love that this rug is 100% wool. I would recommend this rug!

The other reviewer who said there’s sharp rocks in the rug was absolutely correct. I don’t know if it’s plastic or what but they HURT. Some spots of discoloration on the rug, which is disappointing. It sheds but not horribly and I expected that since it’s wool. I like the pattern/design. It’s too much hassle to return a huge rug, so guess I’m keeping it. Thankful I didn’t purchase from another retailer at a higher price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this back in April, I was a bit on the fence because of the color and is hard to see something that will have an impact in the room and how its presence will play out. I am glad to see it worked we. The texture, I don't find it too hard to step in from the bed. My cat somehow does not feel tempted to wreak havoc on it, but loves to sleep on top of the rig if sleeping outside of his tower or bed. Yet, my cat prefs comfort and Cushing so if I am on the bed he goes and lays on the floor during the heatwave through the day. So far, I have not seen any shedding. My complain that is hard to line up with the padding but is because I did it on my own and the rug is heavy to move around.

We have had this rug for several months now and I had to leave a review because I have been so pleased. It’s so beautiful! I’ve read the other reviews and was completely shocked by the one that mentioned shedding. I love this rug because ours hasn’t shed at all!

I am so angry and disappointed with this rug, and it is way too much of a hassle to deal with. Buy a wool rug they said. Well I am extremely angry with myself for buying this. There are little sharp white rock/debris all over this rug, especially around the knots, and embedded into the weaves. You can’t crawl around, kneel on the rug, or anything, without getting poked by these little rocks. I’ve spent way too long picking these rocks out and vacuuming them up, and am nowhere close to being done. I emailed RugsUSA to ask if all these rocks/debris was normal, and they sent me a replacement rug, but same problem and I guess these rocks are just a part of their manufacturing process. I would not wish this on anyone. I’m so angry because the design of this rug is so pretty.
