For the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease. Use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease.

This is a great rug. It arrived rolled up and laid out mostly flat when I put it down. One side of it was anchored under entry mats and the other side under a desk chair. I didn't use the recommended rug protector underneath because this is covering up an already significantly beat up hardwood floor in my entryway and is my temporary solution until I can budget the floor refinish cost. I have no idea how this would fit into any washing machine, even a commercial sized one, but it would be feasible to roll it up, take it outside and hose it down, then hang over a fence to air dry. The rug itself is woven, but the design is printed on. It vacuums nicely and I bought it mainly for the "washable" feature. My dog threw up on it already and I used my all-in-one electric floor cleaner/vacuum to lift the stain, which came up quite easily. I used the cleaner on both the front and back sides of the rug and the stain came right out. I folded the rug over and let it air dry for a couple of hours, then it was good as new. I have another rug in the same design that is a long runner, and it has also proven worthy. Time will tell on how long the printed design and the rug will hold up after "washings", but I feel as though I got a decent deal on this and would purchase from rugs.com again.
