This rug is beautiful! But I definitely wouldn’t recommend it if you are putting it in a high traffic area like a living room. The wool is in “ropes” and would be impossible to clean.

Beautiful Rug with Lots of texture

I love Arvin and I love the design of this rug. There were a few things I was not expecting. First the rug has tiny strands of a silver fiber or tinsel in it, that catch’s the sun. I think it cheaps the feel. Mine also came with a couple of stained on the border and the a few of the white triangles which I was a bit disappointed in. The tassels are not included in the 8x10 size so the rug’s actually a bit longer then 10ft if you include the tásales. I have a king living room so It was no problem but just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Otherwise it’s really beautiful and I love that the pattern is not printed on but actually created by a second strand that is woven more closely together to form the black triangles. I also love the border on each end. Initially thought I could not like it, but I actually think it finishes off the rug in a beautiful way. 8x10 was perfect for my 89” couch. And really adds texture and dimension to my living room! I definitely recommend the rug overall. It came packaged folded instead of rolled but surprisingly didn’t have much of a crease! So I didn’t have do anything extra to get it flat. It is thin but has enough cushion to feel comfortable to walk on. I got a cheap rug pad elsewar to give it a bit more cushion. Also there was not a strong smell on the rug itself. Last thing, the texture of this rug is more like a wool rug so it’s a big scratchy on the skin. But not extremely! And still more comfortable then a jute rug for example.
